Legal Primers

At Reda | Ciprian | Magnone, LLC, we handle transactional law in four main areas of practice. We rarely step outside of the boundaries of our regular practice areas.  When you call with an issue outside of the areas we handle on a regular basis, we may be able to put you in touch with an attorney or firm who does handle those matters.  You can find primers on many of the services we offer on the menu to the left.  The most common work we handle is in the following areas:

Probate

We handle nearly all manners related to probate estates.  We regularaly open and assist personal representatives in the administration of decedent's estates, disabled adult guardianships, and minor's guardianships.  We also assist personal injury lawfirms with the probate-related processing of their wrongful death and survival claims.  We represent a number of geneologists and "heir finders" and assist heirs in proving their heirship in probate estates.  

Landlord Tenant Law

We represent landlords in evictions, lease drafting and review,and provide general landlord counsel.  We assist in the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial leases.  We sometimes assist tenants in recovering their security deposit in cases under the Chicago Residential Landlord Tenant Ordinance.

Corporate Law

We help clients organize limited liability companies, incorporate corporations, or form other business entities.  We assist buyers and sellers of businesses in asset and stock purchases or sales.  Our attorneys also act as foreign registered agents for foreign entities.  We assist with general contract drafting and review and basic transactional business legal advice.

Real Estate

We represent purchasers and sellers in commercial and residential real estate transactions. We assist buyers and sellers with For Sale By Owner transactions.  We guide buyers and sellers through developer transactions, REO or bank owned real estate transactions, and short sales.  We assist real estate developers with new constructions developments and condominium conversions.

Estate Planning

We draft wills, trusts, land trusts, and other estate planning documents.  We can help with powers of attorney for property and healthcare, HIPPA disclosures, living wills, disposition of remains directions, and other anciallary estate planning documents.
